Your journey starts with a new patient consultation

During your first appointment, you'll meet with one of our expert reproductive specialists to discuss your health history and goals for your future family. Your doctor will recommend any necessary fertility testing and review potential treatment options that may be suitable for you. After your appointment, we'll contact you to discuss next steps and what your timeline may look like.

One-on-one care combined with cutting-edge treatments

AFCC offers a comprehensive range of fertility treatments. We’ll create a customized treatment plan for you based on your unique needs and goals.

Getting Started FAQs

  • You should see a fertility specialist if you’re under 35 and have been trying to conceive for one year without success or over the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for six months without success. Additionally, you should see a fertility specialist if you have any known conditions that can impact fertility, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or endometriosis.

  • During your new patient appointment, you and your partner (if applicable) will discuss your health history and family-building goals with one of our expert fertility specialists. Based on this appointment, you’ll undergo fertility testing so we can get to the root of what’s causing your fertility issues.

  • Choosing a fertility clinic is a very personal decision. Factors to consider include location, physician expertise, success rates, availability, support services, and patient reviews. At AFCC, our success rates have exceeded the national average for over 20 years.

  • You don't need a referral to meet with one of our fertility specialists. If you're interested in scheduling a new patient consultation, contact us today.

  • Illinois mandates fertility coverage for certain employers. Under the Illinois Insurance Code, companies that provide group health insurance and have 25 or more employees, and provide pregnancy related coverage must provide fertility treatment including, but not limited to: diagnosis of infertility, in vitro fertilization (IVF), embryo transfer, and intrauterine insemination (IUI). However, insurance coverage for fertility care still depends on your specific plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your initial appointment to understand your coverage details. AFCC accepts many major insurance plans and provides various financing options.
