Olutunmike Kuyoro, M.D. | Fertility Specialist & IVF Doctor in Chicago

Dr. Olutunmike Kuyoro, also known as Dr. Tumi, is a distinguished reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree magna cum laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada in 2017. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine in the United Kingdom, where she earned a BSc and ARCS in 2011.

Dr. Kuyoro completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell Health in New York. She previously completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York from 2017 to 2021.

Throughout her career, Dr. Kuyoro has been recognized for her excellence in clinical care and research. She has received multiple awards, including the Steven A. Farber MD Annual Award for Clinical Excellence in OBGYN for two consecutive years, the Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics, and the Excellence in Research Award. Dr. Kuyoro has also been honored with the Award for Distinction in Research and the International Peace Scholarship for her academic performance and commitment to community enhancement.

Dr. Kuyoro is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research has been widely published in esteemed journals such as Fertility and Sterility Reports and BMC Health Services Research. Some of her notable publications include works on racial disparities in fertility care, predictors of follow-up care in cervical cancer screening, and the impact of BMI thresholds on fertility treatment access.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Kuyoro is fluent in both English and Yoruba. She enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and running in her free time.
